Welcome to my 500th post on Reflecting!
I can’t quite believe I’m here and just 19 months after the birth of this little blog. If you factor in all the different times I almost quit (does anyone remember June 2007?) and the two stints at NaBloPoMo (Nov 2007 and March 2008 — 78 posts right there), I’m averaging about 26 posts per month. Not too shabby for someone with nothing to say.
And since I would have never made it this far without you, dear friend and reader, I would like to thank you by hosting a little giveaway (i.e.: you could win a prize!). The rules are quite simple.
All you have to do is comment on this post. That’s it. Just say hi. Or congratulations. Or Happy Wednesday. Whatever floats your boat at that particular moment. You don’t have to have a blog or web site to enter but be sure to provide a valid email address or you won’t be able to receive the prize, if you win. Well, maybe too simple. So let’s give you one more opportunity to win! I’ve been working on my 100 Things to Do Before I Die list and I’m stalled. So, if in your comment you also offer a suggestion for something no cost or low cost to add to my list, I’ll enter you in the drawing a second time. (Suggestions could be something like: try a new recipe once a week for a year or memorize a favorite poem or attend a concert in the park…but not those because they are already on the list.) Remember no cost or low cost things only. Own a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes or vacation in the Swiss Alps are fine suggestions but don’t really qualify. I have all the high ticket items I can handle, thank you.
